Working with the Head of Commercial you will be responsible for supporting and implementing commercial strategies that accelerate growth and income for the company in our various partnership offerings.

Conducting market research that secures new partners that align with our commercial objectives, whilst reporting on the achievements that have been obtained through coordinating activities within the business.

Main Responsibilities and Key Activities

  • Manage 20+ client accounts from our Partners West Midlands programme from diverse sectors including professional services, engineering and consultancy, technology and advanced manufacturing. This involves understanding organisations and their requirements for growth in the West Midlands region, understanding WMGC initiatives and connecting individuals across our extensive network. It requires focus on high levels of engagement with all partners and ensuring agreed benefits are delivered consistently and to agreed quality service levels.
  • Research, source and secure new partners aligned to regional growth sectors to grow diversity of PWM network, and new partners relating to specific commercial opportunities e.g. overseas trade missions/events or sector specific activity.
  • Support Head of Commercial with analysis and business planning to evolve existing PWM Programme.
  • Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams as necessary (marketing, inward investment, tourism and other workstreams etc) to understand/source opportunities available to Partners and to coordinate PWM involved events and activities.
