Jane Whitlock

Jane is practice senior partner for Deloitte in the Midlands. Jane is an audit partner and formerly lead the audit practice in the Midlands, working with some of the firm’s most prestigious clients including National Grid, National Express, Boots and Severn Trent. Throughout her career, Jane has worked with a range of clients in both the energy/resources and consumer business sectors, advising senior management, boards and audit committees on corporate governance and regulatory matters.  

Jane specialises in complex PCAOB audit engagements, with a focus on internal controls, and advises on a range of accounting and assurance related matters including GAAP transitions, bond offerings and group re organisations. 

Jane has lived and worked in the region for 30 years having previously studied Economics at Warwick University. She is married to John and along with their two children, enjoys the sea, snow and sun, together with frequent visits to the theatre. Jane serves on the audit committee of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
