What We Do

The West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC) is the investment promotion and destination management organisation for the West Midlands region.

Backed by the West Midlands Combined Authority and its seven constituent metropolitan authorities, as well as five of the region’s universities, WMGC brings together the strengths of the public, private and academic sector to deliver sustainable, inclusive growth for the West Midlands.

Our mission is to attract investment, businesses and visitors to the West Midlands in order to grow the economy, create jobs and deliver a better quality of life for those that live and work here.

Global West Midlands

Global West Midlands is the West Midlands Growth Company’s business plan for 2023-26. It sets out how we propose to address regional challenges and capitalise on our opportunities to deliver sustainable, inclusive growth and level up the region.
