The programme supports bringing investment to the city; investing in businesses to grow; investing in local recruitment; investing in workforce/skill development and investment in the local supply chain. In addition, it also raises awareness of the city’s business support offer, provides opportunities to celebrate achievements and business to business activity.    

New for 2018, the Business Programme extends beyond five days and will run from Sunday 23 September until Wednesday 3 October 2018. 

The 2018 programme consists of retained annual events, and a number of new and launch events. 

Featuring a Meet the Buyer event, a Women Entrepreneurs Lunch, as well as recruitment and housing events, the Business Programme also features:

The Premier Business Breakfast: hosted once again by business journalist and TV broadcaster, Steph McGovern, will once again host the showpiece Business Breakfast on Thursday 27 September with keynote speakers Laurie Dalrymple, Manager Director of Wolverhampton Wanderers football club and the City of Wolverhampton’s new Managing Director, Tim Johnson.
