The West Midlands Growth Company is launching a dedicated Production Services Office (PSO), a central destination for the Film, TV, and digital content sector to support this momentum. We seek a dynamic Sector Lead to shape, lead, and deliver this new strategic initiative.

Main responsibilities and key activities summary

• Lead a New Industry Hub: Head up the new Production Services Office, delivering concierge-style support to high-end productions across the region.
• Attract Global Productions: Promote the West Midlands nationally and internationally as a top-tier filming destination.
• Support Creative Infrastructure: Facilitate investment into studios and content hubs across the West Midlands.
• Enable Seamless Production: Coordinate filming logistics, permits, crew and location support, and liaise with local authorities.
• Champion Local Talent: Connect productions with regional education and training pipelines to support long-term industry growth.
• Bridge Film and Tech: Foster innovation and collaboration between screen, gaming, and digital sectors, including AI and sustainability.
• Support Content Creators: Manage a Content Creator Hub, linking short-form digital creators with larger productions.
• Lead with Impact: Line manage the PSO team and report on project success to key stakeholders, including West Midlands Growth Company, West Midlands Combined Authority, and Create Central.
• Industry-Facing: Represent the West Midlands at industry events, trade shows, and festivals.
