Lead High-Impact Partnerships for a Region on the Rise
The West Midlands Growth Company is seeking a commercially savvy, strategic professional to take on the role of Commercial Partnerships Lead; a pivotal position responsible for shaping and delivering the partnership strategies behind our most high-profile events.
From spearheading the commercial planning for UKREiiF, MIPIM, and the WM Tourism Awards to playing a key role in the upcoming Regional Investment Summit, you’ll help secure and manage the partnerships that fund and amplify the region’s economic development and global reach.
What to Expect in This Role

Strategic Partnership Development: Lead commercial strategy for major events, including UKREiiF, MIPIM, and the West Midlands Tourism Awards.

Revenue Target Ownership: Secure and manage commercial partnerships to meet income targets.

Custom Package Creation: Tailor sponsorship opportunities for a diverse mix of stakeholders and partners.

Sponsor Engagement & Fulfilment: Act as lead liaison, ensuring smooth communication and delivery of all sponsorship rights.

Event Delivery & Evaluation: Oversee pre-event briefings and post-event feedback to continuously improve partnership outcomes.

Cross-Sector Collaboration: Work closely with tourism, capital investment, and wider teams to ensure alignment and value across all activity.

Post-Event Impact Reporting: Deliver insight-led evaluations of sponsorship effectiveness and ROI.

Regional & National Influence: Play a visible role at major trade and investment events, both nationally and internationally.
