The West Midlands Growth Company is seeking a talented and strategic Video Producer to drive our in-house video storytelling. This is your chance to shape how we present the region to investors, partners, and global audiences through powerful, high-quality video content.

From high-impact brand films to stakeholder messaging and major event coverage, you’ll play a central role in elevating our brand and inspiring confidence in the West Midlands as a leading destination for investment and tourism.

Main responsibilities and key activities

• End-to-End Production: Plan, film, and edit professional video content aligned with our marketing strategy and brand vision.
• Creative Direction: Source stories, shape narratives, and bring bold ideas to life that reflect the region’s ambition and identity.
• Hands-On Filming: Capture high-quality footage across varied environments, studio and on location.
• Editing & Motion Graphics: Produce polished outputs with graphics, subtitles, and effects; experience with motion graphics is a bonus.
• Collaborative Workflow: Partner with internal teams, from marketing to business development, to align content with campaign goals.
• Content Planning: Build and maintain a strategic production calendar to maximise impact and reach.
• Platform Optimisation: Deliver video tailored for social media, websites, and corporate presentations.
• Equipment & Budget Management: Maintain video gear and manage shoot budgets for high-quality, cost-effective production.
• Regional Network Building: Develop connections with creatives, studios, and partners to expand capabilities and regional reach.

You’re a creative with strong technical skills and an eye for detail. Whether you’re behind the camera or in the edit, you know how to turn a brief into an engaging story that inspires action. Corporate or brand video experience is a plus, especially in investment, tourism, or public sector campaigns.
