The company is leading many key projects, working across and joining up public and private sectors, with a commitment to dealing with inequality and creating social value through our work. We see ourselves as part of the DNA of the region and have an obligation to drive forward the economic, environmental, and social agendas for the benefit of everyone who lives, works, learns, and visits us.

The projects it is delivering in the region include legacy and benefits realisation services for the Network Resilience Live Lab for Transport for West Midlands, as well as being selected as Lead and multi-disciplinary consultant on the planned Athlete’s Village for the Commonwealth Games Birmingham 2022, which due to covid rescoped to the legacy scheme, Perry Barr Regeneration Scheme (PBRS).

PBRS is a transformational legacy/residential development as part of an overall £500m 1st phase wider project in a deprived suburb of Northwest Birmingham providing up to 1,000 homes across four plots. It meets crucial needs for affordable homes, market sale/rent, and critical extra care homes whilst unlocking a programme of up to 5,000 homes in the wider area.

The project outstripped its social value targets, providing jobs, training, apprenticeships and local SME spend in a high unemployment area. The scheme boosts inclusivity in Birmingham, with sustainable design and huge transport investment to drive behavioural change towards a low-carbon future.

Globally we maximize impact for our clients and the communities they serve by providing effective solutions through sustainable outcomes, focus and scale, and digitalization. We are 28,000 people, active in more than 70 countries. We support UN-Habitat with knowledge and expertise to improve the quality of life in rapidly growing cities around the world.
