Innovation Birmingham: Championing tech in the region image

An exciting period of growth is underway at the Innovation Birmingham campus, which is currently home to 170 of Birmingham’s brightest and best tech companies. After recently overhauling its Universities Centre to offer superior serviced office space for 2-12 people; plans are also underway to remodel iCentrum and Faraday Wharf, located on the Innovation Birmingham Campus offering office space for tech businesses with up to 20 employees.

Part of the city’s growing  Knowledge Quarter, the Innovation Birmingham Campus is set to further expand with the development of  a brand new 120,000 sq ft. building, Enterprise Wharf.  Due for completion Winter 2021, Enterprise Wharf will offer 10 x 12,400 sq ft floors, best in class facilities, a private terrace and is expected to attract international attention from companies looking to base their tech divisions within Birmingham to be part of the city’s burgeoning tech scene.

The Innovation Birmingham campus already has a reputation within the city as a vital hub for the tech community. The company hosts regular meet-ups and events to bring together tech enthusiasts and entrepreneurs, whilst offering tailored business support to companies on the campus. Just a stone’s throw from Aston and Birmingham City Universities, businesses who choose to base themselves within the campus benefit from being part of a vibrant community with access to talent and large corporates acting as  major draws.

Currently based at the campus are Barclays Eagle Labs and WMAHSN are currently based at the campus whilst  former corporate partner, Gymshark, went on to implement business ideas from two Innovation Birmingham startups at their own Blythe Valley HQ.
