The University’s Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre along with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, University of Wolverhampton Business School and the Black Country Growth Hub is hosting the free Live Budget event on Monday 29 October 2018.

As well as having the opportunity to watch the budget as it’s delivered by Chancellor Philip Hammond MP, guests can then hear an expert panel discuss what it means for business as part of a live Q&A session.

The panel will be chaired by Chief Executive of the Black Country Chamber, Corin Crane, and will also consist of Martin Dudley, Director at Thomas Dudley; Tracey Jackson Business Development Manager at Howells Glazing; Francesca Hutchinson Tax Director at Dyke Yaxley, Paul Kalinauckas Chief Executive of BCRS Business Loans and economist Dr Ian Jackson of the University’s Business School.

A buffet lunch is also included as part of the event, which takes place between 12pm and 2:30pm* at the Business Solutions Centre at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park in Glaisher Drive.

Gary Dimmock, Business Solutions Centre Manager, said:

“We’re delighted to be hosting this event to mark the 2018 Budget statement and we’d love to see as many local businesses here as possible.
