The Brownfield Redevelopment: Midlands 2019 Conference will take place on Wednesday 3rd July in partnership with the Brownfield Research and Innovation Centre (BRIC). BRIC is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund Programme.

The one-day event will bring together local authorities, developers, policy-makers, landowners, remediation companies and other stakeholders to explore solutions to key challenges.

Mark Schneider, Project Manager from the Brownfield Research and Innovation Centre (BRIC), said:

“The Conference will cover all aspects of unlocking brownfield land and looking at ways we can increase its viability in the Midlands region.

“Our panel of expert speakers will talk about overcoming the obstacles to brownfield land availability, managing contamination risks and finding suitable financing mechanisms to reduce the risks of brownfield development.

“With a specific regional focus on brownfield development projects across the Midlands, the programme will demonstrate best practice in implementing technical and planning policy, as well as practical case studies of "real-life" projects.”

This conference is suitable for all those with an interest in brownfield and contaminated land including local authorities, brownfield, planning and development consultants, landowners, and remediation and building contractors.
