Finance and credit expert Jaco Snyman has been appointed to spearhead the company’s new Birmingham-headquartered debt collection agency, McLaren Credit Services.
Reporting to Group CEO Gary Gilburd, Mr Snyman will take responsibility for the growth and strategic direction of McLaren Credit Services – a dedicated brand which will support a range of clients who are looking to outsource their account and debt collection processes.
Mr Snyman said the FCA-registered company has ambitious plans to make the business one of the biggest debt collection agencies in the UK over the next four years and aims to add hundreds more jobs, building on the existing launch team of 35.
He said: “At a time of huge pressures in the market, the launch of McLaren Credit Services is an exciting step for the Group and gives a dedicated business which focusses solely on supporting companies with their debt collection processes and ensuring the right outcomes for their customers.

South African-born Mr Snyman joined the Group in January 2021 where he has been the company’s Director of Financial Services, also growing the firm’s BPO offering in the financial and insurance sector. With nearly 30 years’ experience, he previously held a variety of leadership roles in the financial and consumer finance sectors in the UK and South Africa - including positions with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and BNP Paribas.
